Ahmed Nuhu Enesi

Ahmed Nuhu Enesi is the current Chairman of Okene Local Government Area, Kogi State. A grassroots politician with more than two decades of local-government experience, he assumed office following the 2024 local-government elections under the APC. As Chairman, he has prioritized security, public-safety regulations, economic development, and improved local governance — including plans for an ultra-modern cattle market, crackdowns on un-regulated masquerade processions and vehicle offences, and efforts to improve electricity supply.
