Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji

Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji (APC) won the August 16, 2025, by‑election to represent the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. She secured 41,237 votes, defeating the PDP candidate who scored 14,324. Her victory extends the leadership lineage of the late Deputy Chief Whip, Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga. Various leaders including former Governor Gbenga Daniel congratulated her, welcoming her incoming role and endorsing her peaceful, unifying campaign.
