Abubakar John Tanko Yusuf

Hon. Abubakar John Tanko Yusuf is a Nigerian politician from Taraba State, representing Takum I Constituency in the Taraba State House of Assembly. Elected under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and serving as Chairman of the Assembly Committee on Agriculture & Natural Resources, he has been active on motions concerning security crises, farmer-herder conflicts, resource allocation, and relief for displaced constituencies. In November 2025, he formally decamped from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as part of a broader shift in the state assembly.
