Barrister Abdulraheem Adebayo Adeleke Lawal is the current Deputy Governor of Oyo State, sworn in on 18 July 2022. A legal luminary from Kishi in Irepo LGA, he is affiliated with the PDP and previously served as Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice (1999–2003). With degrees in economics and law from the University of Ibadan, he later chaired the Oyo State Housing Corporation. Known for his loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde and administrative competence, Lawal brings decades of public service and legal expertise to his role.
