Will Restore Subsidy To Cut Your Costs, Atiku Tells Nigerians

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar clarified that he does not plan to restore Nigeria’s old fuel import-subsidy regime. Instead, he proposes a targeted, capped and transparent subsidy to support domestic refining and production, with the goal of reducing fuel costs and the wider cost of living.
