Why FCT Is Excluded From State Police – Senate

The Senate said the FCT was excluded from the proposed state police system because it has no governor or State House of Assembly. Unlike the 36 states, the FCT is directly administered by the Federal Government through a minister, while the National Assembly handles its legislative affairs.
