Tinubu nominates ex-SEC DG Yuguda as CBN deputy governor

President Bola Tinubu has nominated Lamido Yuguda, former DG of the Securities and Exchange Commission, as Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, subject to Senate confirmation. The nomination follows the appointment of Bala Bello as Special Adviser on Political Economy.
