Sowore condemned the arrest of bloggers over reports on Tony Elumelu’s divorce.

@omoyele-sowore has urged the police to release three individuals arrested over reports about Tony Elumelu’s alleged divorce. He argued that such publication is not a criminal offence but a civil matter and said the police should not use arrests to suppress or punish journalists and bloggers.
