Rivers assembly halts impeachment proceedings against Fubara

The Rivers State House of Assembly has suspended impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Ngozi Odu, following intervention by President Bola Tinubu. Speaker Martin Amaewhule announced the decision in Port Harcourt, adding that all related court cases have been withdrawn.
