NDLEA Arrests ‘Grandpa’ With Cocaine Hidden In Food Items At Abuja Airport

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency arrested a 74-year-old man for allegedly attempting to smuggle 11kg of cocaine hidden in food items at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. He was intercepted while trying to board a British Airways flight to Heathrow Airport in London on March 14, 2026.
