National Assembly urged to speed up passage of domestic workers right bill

CEE-HOPE and NAWOJ have called for stronger protection of domestic workers, citing widespread abuse and exploitation. They linked the demand to the Senate’s passage of the Informal Sector Employment Bill, 2025, which aims to formalise and regulate domestic work, noting that many domestic workers suffer violations without justice.
