Middle East war has caused largest oil supply disruption in history, says IEA

The International Energy Agency says the Middle East conflict has caused the largest global oil supply disruption ever, cutting crude by 8 million barrels/day and affecting shipments through the Strait of Hormuz. IEA members will release 400 million barrels from reserves, but relief may be temporary.
