Lagos jails 13 for illegal waste disposal

The Lagos State Government secured the conviction of 13 people for illegally dumping refuse in violation of environmental laws. The offenders pleaded guilty before a Magistrate Court in Oshodi and were each sentenced to three months in prison, according to information shared by Tokunbo Wahab.
