Kebbi woman arrested for kidnapping friend’s son for N5m

Kebbi State Police have arrested 25-year-old Maryam Muhammad for allegedly kidnapping her friend’s four-year-old son and demanding a N5m ransom. The boy went missing on November 26, 2025, and his father later received a ransom call from an unknown woman. Police traced the number to Muhammad and arrested her. Source: punchng.com
