IPOB orders total cancellation of sit-at-home in South East

IPOB has announced that its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has ordered the complete cancellation of the Monday sit-at-home across the South-East, effective February 9, 2026. The directive, according to the group, came directly from Kanu and ends a protest action that began in August 2021 over his arrest and detention.
