The US Africa Command deputy commander, Brennan, said the Pentagon maintains communication with militaries in junta-led Sahel countries amid rising jihadist attacks in Nigeria. He added that under President Trump, the US has become more aggressive in targeting threats, mainly ISIS, while working with partners.
