INEC Proposes N873bn Budget For 2027 Elections

Independent National Electoral Commission Chairman Joash Amupitan told the National Assembly that the Commission’s proposed 2027 election budget totals N832.17bn. The breakdown includes N375.75bn for operational costs, N92.31bn for administrative expenses, N209.21bn for election technology, and N154.90bn for capital costs.
