Governor Adeleke’s convoy ‘attacked’ by hoodlums amid gunshots

Gunmen suspected to be hoodlums attacked Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke’s convoy shortly after he left the Ataoja of Osogbo’s palace. His security personnel exchanged gunfire with the attackers for about 12–15 minutes before the assailants fled. The incident occurred after Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke received his Certificate of Return following his re-election.
