DSS pauses Sowore’s prosecution until after 2027 presidential poll

The DSS has asked its lawyer to seek an adjournment of its cyber-bullying case against AAC presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore until after the January 2027 presidential election. The case concerns Omoyele Sowore’s social media posts allegedly calling President Bola Ahmed Tinubu a “criminal,” with the DSS seeking the court’s interpretation of such statements.
