Drivers protest fuel price hike, block road in Edo

Commercial drivers in Benin City blocked parts of Upper Sakponba Road to protest the sharp rise in petrol prices. The protest caused major disruption, leaving commuters stranded, while drivers insisted on increasing transport fares as fuel prices jumped from about ₦870 to ₦1,350 per litre.
