China, Nigeria celebrate women’s role in social development

China and Nigeria reaffirmed the role of women in strengthening bilateral ties at the Lantern Festival event in Abuja. Chinese Ambassador Yang Jianxing noted the celebration precedes International Women’s Day and mentioned that Chinese New Year was listed by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2024.
