Army raids kidnappers’ hideout in Kaduna, kills one

Nigerian Army troops under Operation Enduring Peace raided a kidnappers’ hideout in Jagindi Kagom village, Kaduna State, on January 2, 2026, killing one suspect during a gun battle. The suspect was identified as Dahiru Adamu Barka, while other gang members escaped.
