Abia converts free green shuttle to fare service with 50% subsidy

The Abia State Government has converted its Free Green Shuttle mass transit programme into a commercial fare-paying service. However, Governor Alex Otti approved a 50% fare subsidy, which took effect on March 1, 2026, covering all inter- and intra-city routes.
