Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (born 21 October 1956) is a Nigerian engineer, politician, and two-time Governor of Kano State. He has also served as Minister of Defence, Senator for Kano Central, and is currently the national leader of the NNPP. A founder of the Kwankwasiyya movement, he is known for his strong grassroots mobilisation and pro-education policies. In the 2023 elections, he contested for President under the NNPP, emerging as a major third-force candidate with significant influence in northern Nigeria.
